What’s Your Number?

Renée Yacoub, Creighton University Senior

Graduating from Creighton University in May, Renée continues working diligently to set herself on a path for success. Involving herself in a multitude of causes, from supporting the arts & culture to working on civil rights and social action, her resume is extensive.

This Arizona native is the Pre-Law Society President at Creighton University and has had more internships than what seems possible in her 4 years in Omaha.

Renée’s number is 2. “My entire life, it’s just been my mom and myself. She’s my role model, my friend, my support system and my number one fan. I attribute my success and my drive to everything she’s taught me.”, says Renée.

From Creighton University to UNMC, to the Children’s Hospital and the Arizona State Capitol, Renée is not only a business professional, an academic and a well-rounded woman, but she’s humble and grateful.

Hearing of an opportunity to learn about Healthcare policy in business and how it effects sales, Renée attended the November SalesTalk. Stepping outside of a typical college student’s comfort zone, she came to the event and networked. By the end of the night, she had landed herself another opportunity to work with E.D. Bellis.

For Renée, the number 2 represents perseverance, strength and love- something she’s learned from her mother and continues to demonstrate so well in the Omaha community.
